See the jewels of Venice and meet Angela Hartnett
The historic canals and waterfront palaces of Venice have captivated visitors for generations. On this luxury cruise, you'll discover the enchanting beauty of the 'City of Water' and its surrounding islands, where gondolas replace cars and canals are lined by elegant Renaissance buildings.
Making this cruise extra special is the company of Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett. Angela will accompany a tour of the wonderful Rialto food market, before hosting an exclusive onboard cooking demonstration and answering some of your questions.
Your home for the week will be the sleek river ship, S.S La Venezia. With large cruise lines now banned in Veneto, Uniworld's small ship size gives guests an added level of exclusivity as the only luxury cruise line to not only enter, but also sail through the heart of Venice.
Over seven days of exploring you'll get exclusive access to some of the Vento region's most renowned attractions. Enjoy VIP access to Doge's palace during an early morning visit before it opens to the public and see St Mark's Basilica after nightfall to witness an atmospheric lighting ceremony, free of the daytime crowds. You'll also step inside the church on Torcello before it officially opens to appreciate its tranquil atmosphere.
There's a wide choice of optional excursions available throughout the cruise. Perhaps you'll join walking tours to discover more of Venice's history, or cycle along the beaches of Chioggia to see the Lucenzo Lagoon. You'll find plenty of ways to fully immerse yourself in Venetian life.
