The Aurora Borealis is one of the world's most awe-inspiring natural spectacles and watching as the night sky comes alive with vivid dancing swathes of pink and green is a truly unforgettable experience.
This tour will take you to beautiful and unspoilt Iceland with its dramatic natural landscapes of vast lava fields, bubbling mud pools, and spouting geysers, and its colourful, cosmopolitan capital of Reykjavik.
As you sail, you'll have several wonderful craft workshops to enjoy, many drawing inspiration from the Aurora and the ports you'll visit. Look forward to making Northern Lights lanterns, Stained glass angels, Lino printing, and silver plated seaglass jewellery with the expert supervision of Julie Peasgood.
Iceland isn't the only place you might get to spot the lights on this trip. Along the way, you'll visit Invergordon and the remote and tranquil archipelagos of Orkney, where you can witness remnants of ancient history, like the magnificent St. Magnus Cathedral and fascinating Neolithic standing stones
You'll also stop at Runavik in the Faroe Islands, the largest settlement on Eysturoy island which lies on the eastern side of the Skálafjørður fjord. Home to not only a picturesque harbour area but also freshwater Lake Toftavten.
Throughout your adventure you'll be sailing on board the luxurious ship Ambition, where in between shore excursions you can make the most of the excellent facilities, including two swimming pools, four hot tubs and a spa.
You'll have all meals included as you sail on board Ambition, including a grand Captain's Gala DInner and Farewell Dinner.
Today you'll board Ambition, your home for the next few days, and set sail from London Tilbury at 5pm.
You'll sail into Rotterdam today and cruise along the River Nieuwe Maas. Sailing along this river, which is the lifeblood of the city, is one of the most scenic ways to see Rotterdam.
A day at sea will give you the chance to benefit from Ambition's extensive facilities. Perhaps take a dip in the outdoors pool, put your best cards forward at Aces & Eights bridge and card room, or revive and renew at the gym and Wellness Centre.
Today you'll dock in Kirkwall, on Scotland's Orkney Isles. This town is home to the magnificent Viking influenced St. Magnus Cathedral and numerous Neolithic standing stones. Ancient traditions live on in craft workshops producing fascinating keepsakes, making this a unique and intriguing place to shop.
You'll sail into Runavik, located on the south side of Eysturoy island. You can get a taste of life on the Faroe Islands here, as you wander around tranquil Lake Toftavn which is bursting with rich birdlife.
Spend another day at sea relaxing on board Ambition. Maybe today you'll catch a show from the ship's varied schedule of evening entertainment. Take a seat in the sensational Palladium theatre to catch a West End-style show or a dance performance choreographed by Strictly's Anton Du Beke.
Today's stop is wonderful Reykjavik, Iceland's quirky capital where you can marvel at the city's mixture of Norse history and vibrant modernity. Reykjavik boasts a rich cultural scene with numerous galleries, theatres, and music venues to enjoy. Perhaps you'll stop by at the Icelandic Punk Museum, or the Reykjavík Art Museum at Hafnarhús, an old harbour warehouse.
You'll be docked in Reykjavik again today. Perhaps take the opportunity to venture out of the city and witness some of Iceland's jaw-dropping rural scenery. Outside of the city you'll find ethereal landscapes of vast lava fields, bubbling mud pools, crashing waterfalls and spouting geysers to fire your imagination.
Your voyage back towards the UK begins today. You'll spend the next three days at sea, giving you plenty of opportunity to socialise with your fellow travellers, or simply relax again in the pool, hot tubs, and wellness centre.
Perhaps take the opportunity today to join an onboard craft workshop**. There is an array of inspirational sessions available including Northern Lights lanterns, stained glass angels, and lino printing. It's a wonderful way to pass the time on board and come home with some unique gifts for friends and family.
Today you'll enjoy a wonderful Captain's Farewell Dinner, with delicious food and great company. Toast to the end of a memorable adventure and say goodbye to your fellow travellers before spending you final night aboard Ambition.
Your cruise comes to an end this morning as you arrive back at Tilbury, London, and disembark your ship.

You'll be spoilt for choice for entertainment while on board. Bring out your finest ensembles for The Palladium and get creative in Grafton Street, the arts, crafts and activity area.
