Today you will sail from Bratislava to Vienna, spend the day relaxing and enjoy the journey along the Danube. This evening you will enjoy a private concert of Mozart and Strauss in a stunning Viennese palace.
Today, you will spend the day exploring Vienna. Join a 'Morning with the Masters' tour at Vienna Art History museum, learning about the extraordinary collection of art.
The rest of your day is free to explore the city of Vienna, you could visit the Albertina Museum and see the impressive collection of 19th and 20th century paintings or if you feel like something a little more enegertic, why not use a bike from the ship and explore Danube Island and Prater Park.
This morning, SS Maria Theresa will stop in the small town of Dürnstein, where you can explore the quaint shops and castle ruins. There are two optional excursions here: a tasting at Austria's oldest winery, or the opportunity to learn about saffron from the Wachau Valley's only saffron grower.
Later, you'll visit the 900-year-old Melk Abbey and its extraordinary Baroque-style library, before continuing your cruise through the Wachau Valley.
Today you can take your pick from excursions to either Salzburg or Linz. Salzburg is Mozart's birthplace, known for its alpine setting. Linz is a pretty centre for the arts. You can go behind the scenes at the Linz opera house and enjoy a cider-tasting experience in an apple and pear orchard.
Cobblestone streets and graceful arcades welcome you in the beautiful German city of Passau. Stroll through the old town's narrow alleys and gaze up at the impressive hilltop Oberhaus Fortress which overlooks the city, and visit St Stephen's Cathedral, a wonderful example of Baroque architecture which is also home to Europe's largest church organ with some 17,000 pipes.
This evening you'll enjoy a special Captain's farewell dinner.
After breakfast, you will be transferred from the ship to Munich to begin your journey home.
