Hotel Review
Dakota Deluxe, Leeds, Yorkshire
A large, modern, city-centre hotel, Dakota Leeds breaks the corporate mould to provide a chic and sophisticated experience from its monotone colours to its smart service. Close to the station, and set amidst the shopping, restaurant and commercial districts, it works well for both business and leisure guests. Despite its size, the subtle colour scheme, clever use of lighting and bold black-and-white photographs create an intimate feel whether in one of the bars or the basement grill-room restaurant. Bedrooms are sleek and subdued, with enough space to work or relax, although they're possibly too dark for some. Nice touches such as valet parking - at a price - make you feel rather special.
