WHAT WE LOVE...
Santa Monica is one of the best places to stay in the Los Angeles area, and the landmark Shutters on the Beach is about the best address to choose. This beautiful, chic hotel oozes luxury at every turn, with bright, uplifting ocean-themed guest rooms, a large, sociable lounge lined with impressive artworks, cosy fireplaces and regular live music, and a pool and pool deck to die for. There are two highly regarded restaurants and the service and amenities are impeccable. Local attractions like the pier and Venice Beach are easily reached, and key LA destinations like the airport, Hollywood and Beverly Hills are only a half hour's drive away.
