WHAT WE LOVE...
This historic LA Downtown building has had a colourful, imaginative makeover in a Mexican, Moroccan and French style and features lots of inspiring artworks in both public areas and the luxurious guest rooms. There's a rooftop pool with a sundeck, a 24-hour fitness centre and three restaurant/bar areas offering everything from Mediterranean tapas to Southern California cuisine. You will enjoy the stunning views of the nearby skyscrapers and vintage brick buildings, all lit up at night like a film backdrop. It's ideally located for exploring both the neighbourhoods, cultural, shopping and gastronomy offerings, as well as being a good base for exploring greater Los Angeles.

We love the cocktails at the Rooftop bar; the great taste is enhanced by the glamorous setting. At breakfast, dried fruit muesli with pistachios, seeds and yoghurt is impossibly colourful, with dried raspberry sprinkled on top.
Caldo Verde: global cuisine, locally-sourced ingredients, boutique wines. Open daily for breakfast and dinner, Mon-Fri for lunch and weekends for brunch.
Cara Cara: drinks, tacos, paella. Open daily 11am 'til late.
