Hotel Review
Heritage Madrid Hotel, Madrid, Spain
An upmarket Relais & Châteaux hotel occupying an interesting Belle Époque corner building in classy Salamanca, in the northern part of Madrid. This is a great place to stay if you want quick access to the airport, which is just 15 minutes away by taxi, and the hotel can provide a private transfer. The food in Haroma restaurant is Spanish fine dining with a menu created by chef Mario Sandoval, who has a two Michelin-starred restaurant nearby. Rooms are characterful, particularly those on the corner, with luxurious fabrics and wallpapers and hydromassage baths. A secret roof terrace is a great spot to unwind with a glass of cava after a busy few hours shopping in the nearby designer stores.
