With its strong wellness focus and exceptional spa facilities, it is very much geared to couples. We loved the attractive earthy colours used throughout.

Suites are spacious, minimalist and decorated in earthy tones - although orange chaise longues inject some colour. Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors open to a wooden decked terrace looking out to a shared lawn. The tiled bathrooms are swish, with rainfall showers. The lighting is dim, obviously to promote a relaxing feel.

The light and airy restaurant has minimalist décor in earthy tones, with floor-to-ceiling window offering views out to the sea. Seaview Restaurant: Sicilian cuisine and fine wines. Open for buffet breakfast and dinner.
Osteria: Mediterranean cuisine, dishes include salads, pizza and pasta. Open for lunch.
