WHAT WE LOVE...

This grand country mansion previously owned by the Duke of Roxburghe, located in the scenic Scottish Borders, provides a secluded retreat for country pursuits and peacefulness. Countryside charm and comfort are combined and set within ample acres of rolling countryside for long walks with friends, family or with your four-legged friend in this pet friendly hotel. There's a champion golf course, a range of country sports from shooting and deer stalking to fishing, and with the pretty market town of Kelso close by and Edinburgh and Newcastle only an hour away, there's much to explore during your stay. The food and drink offerings are creative and focus on local, fresh fare and the hotel's home-from-home ambience makes you feel welcome.
