Style & Character
Unexpectedly romantic (thanks to the tactful charm of the hosts and opportunities for long walks on the beach), this hotel is perfect for couples. The first floor drawing room is an elegant, peaceful retreat where guests may find themselves whiling away an hour... or two!

The pretty, well-kept garden surrounded by high walls is an effective cordon between the house and the busy road outside.

If size matters, ask for the ground floor room - it's huge. We loved all the little touches that make immaculately cared-for rooms still feel like home.

Food & Drink
A leisurely breakfast in the sunny conservatory is the best possible start to the day. The Full Scottish fry-up was fabulous - if you haven't had haggis, there's no better introduction.
Conservatory: dining room serving breakfast daily. The menu features porridge and kippers, as well as a full-cooked breakfast and lighter options.
