Flore House, Flore, Northamptonshire
Tucked away in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside, Flore House occupies a peaceful spot in the pretty village of Flore - an originally 17th-century Jacobean hunting lodge that offers a chance to spend a weekend in your very own country house (well, your own wing of one at least). Owned and run by florist Georgie Dunn, it has two beautifully updated en-suite guest rooms, which also have the run of the 20 acres or so of her gardens and grounds, including meadows and parkland, a few golf holes and a lake. It's used for occasional film and fashion shoots and is an ideal rural bolthole for two people wanting to get away from it all for a few days.
