WHAT WE LOVE...

Built as a family home by a wealthy local merchant, this Georgian manor house has 26 guest rooms spread through the main house and in a garden courtyard. A big plus point is its seductive spa, with indoor pool and treatment rooms. North-west Norfolk's large sandy beaches are half an hour's drive away, and easy days out include the Queen's house at Sandringham, 18th-century Houghton Hall and the charming shops in Burnham Market.
