Hotel Review
New Park Manor, Brockenhurst, New Forest
A striking 16th century redbrick property - and the former hunting lodge of King Charles II - New Park Manor is nestled in a clearing of ancient woodland within the New Forest National Park. A family-run spa hotel; the distinctive interiors seamlessly blend historic charm with modern amenities, inspired by the surrounding landscape. The team have thought of everything from maps displaying local walking routes, to wellies and bicycle hire to enjoy the many paths from the doorstep. There's also a library, cinema room, badminton and croquet lawn. The spa is the real draw, boasting a range of treatments, swimming pool, hydrotherapy pools and thermal rooms. Thoughtful touches include beautifully prepared picnics for your rambles and Beatrix Potter-themed afternoon tea. Head to The Stag for fine dining with a focus on local, foraged and homegrown produce.
