Hotel Review
The July - Twenty Eight, Amsterdam, Netherlands
This is a characterful aparthotel in the southern suburbs of Amsterdam. It offers the comfort of a furnished residential apartment with the hospitality of a conventional small hotel. Located by the stadium built for the city's 1928 Olympic Games, there are shops, bars, restaurants and one of Amsterdam's best parks, Vondelpark, in the vicinity. The centre of the city is easily reached. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen area and is decorated in attractive bright and earthy colours, with furniture suggesting a 1970s retro vibe. Further facilities include a fitness room, spacious sauna and coin-operated launderette. It has an arrangement with a local restaurant to provide breakfasts, lunches, dinners and room service when needed, and menus include local specialities.
