WHAT WE LOVE...

A smart, clean and aesthetically pleasing centrally-located room-only lodging with a useful car park, making it ideal to explore the city by foot. A stone's throw away is the pretty cathedral, museum and Victorian art gallery, Leicester market which has 700 years' history and counting, cafés, bars, international restaurants and more. Alternatively, drive to see the wonders of Leicestershire, from famed pork pies in the rural capital of food Melton Mowbray to authentic Indian cuisine closer to home on the Golden Mile. There is a member of staff available around the clock should you have any questions and you can even make your stay more special by pre-booking a box of chocolates and bottle of bubbly - the ideal romantic break away.

Style & Character

Ideal for a couple who want to walk to a romantic restaurant in the city and return to their boutique, beautifully designed nest for a cosy night in. We loved the hallway featuring a collection of hand-drawn pictures depicting the city throughout the years.

Service & Facilities

The free parking next to the Lodge was very useful and much appreciated.

  • Free parking
  • Free Wi-Fi

Rooms

The Deluxe Double has plenty of room in both the bedroom and bathroom. The blue leather sofa opposite the bed was great to recline on whilst reading a book.

Accessible Twin, Double Room, Deluxe Double, Deluxe King, Junior Suite

Food & Drink

Whilst there is not a food offering, guests receive a 15% discount on food in the Knight & Garter, lovingly referred to as 'Leicester's carefully considered pub' and a few minutes from the lodge. The bottle of bubbly in the room upon arrival was a nice welcome.
