WHAT WE LOVE...

You could arrive by Gondola at this discreet, canalside hotel in the centre of Venice, conveniently located close to both Rialto and St Mark's Square. Dine on well-prepared Venetian cuisine, such as seafood carpaccio or spaghetti con vongole in the interior courtyard, which has a retractable screen for wet weather. If you're tired of browsing the shops that line the surrounding streets, you can spend a quiet hour lounging with a book in the resident's library. In summer, enjoy an Aperol Spritz on the rooftop surrounded by church spires, including the three domes of St Marks, and terracotta rooftops. Rooms are decorated in an East-meets-West style with satin bedspreads and fleur de lis wallpaper and some have balconies with city views.
