WHAT WE LOVE...

A bucket-list, futuristic, luxury hotel offering unique experiences including a surreal volcanic landscape, crater wine cellar and geothermal seawater to swim and relax in, benefitting body and mind. The spa is special, from the self-administered Blue Lagoon Retreat ritual to a floating massage, eyes covered as the therapist guides you through natural milky coloured waters, massaging as you go. Enjoy an afternoon tea beside the dramatic natural landscape of Iceland's Reykjanes Peninsula and indulge in a delicious fine-dining dinner focussing on Icelandic produce with a twist. It's the kind of place you don't forget in a hurry, a restorative last stop if you've toured Iceland's rugged nature and you can purchase spa products to take a little of the healing lagoon with you.

The hotel is perfect for couples wanting a restorative romantic getaway, or friends looking for a unique shared spa experience. Nature is entwined in the design - even the cement walls get their rich dark hue from being mixed with natural black sand from the surrounding area.
