WHAT WE LOVE...

"The luxury of disconnecting" is a strap-line on the hotel's website and it's a good way of describing Ca Na Xica, a delightfully secluded retreat in the Ibizan countryside. Understated luxury is the theme where the open-air restaurant, super spa, saltwater pool and hugely stylish rooms are set among orchards and olive groves. Built in the style of a Spanish finca, the hotel only has 20 rooms so guests have the added pleasure of the place never feeling overcrowded. This is somewhere to go to be pampered - an escape, perhaps, from some of the island's headier excitements - although the food at Ca Na Xica is most definitely a hedonistic pleasure too.

Ideal for anyone after a sense of style, or those just wanting to escape - its lack of pretension is key to its attraction. We love being surrounded by the sights and smells of nature but also being in the lap of luxury.
