Hotel Review
St Joseph's, Dubrovnik, Croatia
Set in the heart of Dubrovnik's Old Town, St Joseph's is an exquisite little retreat in a sympathetically restored 16th-century townhouse made of Dalmatian stone. There's a welcome sense of being pampered in this sumptuously decorated hotel, along with a lovely feeling of intimacy. No doubt it's because the main house has only six suites, with three smaller rooms in a newly renovated cottage just a few feet away. It's little wonder that St Joseph's is a popular choice for couples looking for a romantic city break. The six suites come with kitchenettes, and the three rooms in the cottage share a kitchen, giving you the chance to make the most of Croatia's delicious produce in Dubrovnik's food markets.

Rooms
The Standard and Attic rooms are located within St Joseph's Cottage, next to the hotel. The King Suite is calming and elegant, with exposed stone walls, comfortable sofa and armchair, all in soothing neutral shades. We loved catching glimpses of Dubrovnik life from the window overlooking the little marble lane, but feeling wonderfully cocooned.
