Hotel Review
The Slaughters Manor House, Lower Slaughter, Cotswolds
This gracious honey-stone property looks like a classic Cotswold retreat, but step inside and there's a contemporary vibe. It's a hybrid venue with the relaxing charm of a country house and the zing of a boutique hotel. If you're one for billiards, a slick cocktail bar and beautifully presented British cuisine, this is the place for you. Couples, families and small groups all come for the idyllic setting and famously pretty villages and you can escape the crowds in the five-acre grounds.
