Hotel Review
Can Cera, Palma, Mallorca
A 17th-century palace in Palma's gothic quarter has been transformed into a stylish boutique hotel that feels like you are spending time into the private residence of a wealthy Mallorcan friend. Behind a discreet door on the Carrer de Francesc, you enter into an airy, open patio courtyard with a large palm rising beside an open staircase to the upper floors. On the second floor, a collection of glamourous living areas provide space to lounge with a book or a cocktail. The food in the ground floor restaurant is a selection of local and international tapas, made with products sourced from local island producers. Rooms are luxurious with original wooden shutters and there's a bijou spa you can request for exclusive use.

The menu serves as a showcase of local delicacies from small producers around the island. The lightly seared tuna belly served on a bed of Beluga lentils is our favourite dish.
La Vermutería: tapas, small plates and mains, ranging from cold meats and cheese to Iberian pork. Open daily from 12.30 until 22.30. Small plates start at €9.
