WHAT WE LOVE...

A magnificent Tudor-style Victorian red brick mansion surrounded by formal gardens and sweeping parkland. The interiors are stunning, with walnut wood panelling, a dramatic wide staircase, a Venetian gilt ceiling in the the Italian lounge, Wedgewood-style plasterwork in another lounge and leather wall coverings in the old smoking room. Staff are immaculately dressed and always ready to open a car door, deliver a drink or find you a bicycle to explore the grounds. Expect some exceptional cuisine in the Oak Room, which you will earn playing games of tennis, swimming in the indoor or sheltered outdoor pool or just romping around the gardens and grounds. Rooms combine period-style furniture with contemporary fabrics and upholstery. Suites are full of historic grandeur.
